We adore the cute picture that the Fighter actress re-shared recently about waiting for her spouse, Ranveer Singh!
A toddler is seen running to the door in the shared image, peering outside and waiting for someone while holding a pair of binoculars. The caption said, "Me when my husband tells me he’ll be home at 5:00, and now it’s 5:01." Padukone included Ranveer in the narrative and used an emoji of laughter.
On September 8, 2024, the couple welcomed a girl as their first child. In November 2018, Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot after dating for several years. Looking back on her marriage, Deepika said that, similar to many others, she too thinks that "patience" is the secret to a happy union. Deepika revealed in a previous interview with Time magazine that she feels most vulnerable with Ranveer.
The Pathaan actress said that individuals are either inspired by movies when they are young or by the marriages and relationships they see in the world. She underlined how crucial it is to recognize that every couple's path will be distinct. She went on to say that this holds true for her parents as well as the entire generation.
Though she joked that she sounded like a "love guru," DP stated that she thought patience was one of the most important traits that many couples today lacked. She underlined that all couples from the past generation, not only her and Ranveer from their parents, may learn this lesson. She emphasized patience as the most crucial lesson, although there are many to learn.

The two will appear together in Rohit Shetty's Singham Again, which opens in theaters on November 1, 2024.
