Tiger 3 actors Emraan Hashmi and Simran Bagga discussed the backlash directed at the film, which stars Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. A segment of the audience accused the filmmakers of taking a pro-Pakistan stance in the film and questioned the film's concept of patriotism. Tiger 3 concludes with Pakistan's Prime Minister, Simran, declaring a disarmament drive if India reciprocates.

In an interview, Simran stated that the film's pro-peace politics were "twisted." "I feel people can interpret whatever they want, they can twist any statement and give it the wrong meaning," she said. However, it is not directing or misdirecting us to interpret the dialogue incorrectly. "Zabardasti rai ka pahaad banaya hai."

Simran went on to explain the film's creative direction, saying, "See, it's all about saving humanity." She asks, 'Is India ready to save humanity?' India is ready because Tiger is Indian. He's already putting his family at risk to help others. Nazreen is not questioning India; she is confident that India is prepared. 'Woh ready hai,' woh unke taraf se jawaab nahi de sakti.

Emraan was asked about the reaction to this aspect of the film in a separate interview. "War always created more problems," he said. And when you ask a nation's people, they always want peace. Finally, a hero is someone who rises above the preconceived notions of patriotism and acts for the greater good. And that's how the film portrays the narrative, and it's a very progressive film in that regard.”

Tiger 3 could have joined the bandwagon of jingoistic cinema, according to Emraan, but they made a conscious decision not to. "There are a plethora of films that are jingoistic and have the pitch of criticising so-and-so country." We tried to do the right thing; otherwise, we could have easily gone down that road. The same people who are questioning patriotism would then say, 'Yaar same cheez dikha di tumne'. Finally, you do what you do, and the statistics speak for themselves."
