Kevin Hart married his wife Eniko Parrish in 2016, and revealed about cheating on her just a year later. Thought at first, he denied any accusations about his affair, he later asked for an apology months later publicly. In a recent interview, the comedian spoke about how he shared the story about his affair to his children. Kevin has four kids: 16 year old girl, Heaven and 13 year old boy, Hendrix with his ex-wife Torrei Hart, and 3 year old son, Kenzo and 8 month old daughter, Kaori with Eniko.
In his speech on father’s day, Hart said that his kids had to know about it someday because it would have been revealed sooner or later. “Some kids will accept it and some won’t. Parents need to understand their differences and manage them accordingly.”
“My kids realize who their dad is. And there are both upsides and downsides to it. The upside is that I can live the way I want but downside is that I am constantly in the spotlight,” said Hart while talking about the pros and cons of stardom.
Speaking about parenthood, Kevin said, “What I feel is the most important lesson I’ve learnt about being a father is to listen to your kid. It doesn’t matter who is right or if they need advice. It’s about making your kid feel heard and understood. Later comes the part about giving them information to make the best choices in life.”
