Some of the key highlights of Puri Jagannadh's next Pan-India film with Ram Pothineni have been revealed. Titled "Double Ismart," the film is a sequel to Puri Jagannadh's 2019 blockbuster "Ismart Shankar." It is scheduled to release on March 8, 2024.

Puri Jagannadh has bounced back with his next project, a pan-India film, after the disappointment of Liger. He has teamed up with actor Ram Pothineni for Double Ismart, the sequel to their successful 2019 film Ismart Shankar. The film's title poster was unveiled by Puri Connects, bankrolling the film with Charmee Kaur. It features Charminar, Lord Shiva Lingam, and his trishool in the backdrop, with a release date of March 8, 2024, which coincides with Maha Shivaratri. The film will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam.

The music for Double Ismart will be composed by Mani Sharma. While no other details of the cast and crew have been revealed, it remains to be seen whether Nidhhi Agarwal and Nabha Natesh, who played lead actresses in the first film, will reprise their roles in the sequel. Puri Jagannadh began working on the script after his project Jana Gana Mana with Vijay Deverakonda was shelved.

The makers shared the announcement of the film on Ram Pothineni's birthday, and described it as a "high-octane action entertainer." They also confirmed that it will release in theaters on March 8, 2024.
