Ghayal is a 1990 Indian action drama film directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and starring Amitabh Bachchan and Amala Mukherjee. The movie follows the story of Ajay Mehra, a young man who seeks to avenge the death of his parents at the hands of a corrupt police officer, whose henchmen also killed his brother. The film's success led to the creation of its sequel, Ghayal: Once Again, in 2016. Ghayal is considered one of the greatest action films in Bollywood and Amitabh Bachchan's best performance.
