Here’s The Reason Behind Pulkit Samrat & Isabelle Kaif’s Delayed Release of Suswagatam Khushamadeed

It all began in the year 2019, when Kashi fame director Dheeraj Kumar announced his second film Suswagatam Khushamadeed, a love story set in Agra, UP. The film was shot as per the schedule but soon after the project derailed due to a shortage of funds. Apparently, the patchwork of the film was also in progress.

 

A close source to the film reveals, “The producers had a tiff with the director during the filming of the film. Just after the things boiled up, the actors weren’t paid on time and the project was but on a back burner. In fact, the co-producers left the project too, seeing the uncertainty of the film."

 

“Pulkit, who was last seen in Fukrey 3, is quite happy with the film finally seeing the light of day. He plays a Hindu boy while his love interest Isabelle, plays a Muslim girl in the film,” the source adds.

Actor Sajjad Delafrooz, who plays the antagonist in Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai and popular OTT series Special Ops, plays Isabelle’s brother, who has a grey shade in the film,” source further reveals. 

 

Also in the other news, it was also learnt, the actors were miffed with the director with the prolonged delay of releasing their fees. But, as they say, it all well that ends well, the film is set to release on May 16th, 2025 in theatres. 

Post Suswagatam Khushamadeed, Pulkit will be seen in Rahu Ketu alongside Shalini Pandey of Dabba Cartel and Maharaj fame and Varun Sharma.

Isabelle’s debut film Time To Dance tanked at the box office. In this dance film, she was paired opposite Sooraj Pancholi. And now, all eyes are on to her second film. Time will tell what will be the fate of her and the film.
