So fans have awoken to the news that Pan-India Superstar Junior NTR will be joining Hrithik Roshan in Ayan Mukerji's War 2. With the RRR actor joining Yash Raj's spy universe with War 2 alongside Roshan, the film has every opportunity of being a global blockbuster and shattering all records.

 

Confirmation from a reliable source. "Yeah, it's entirely correct information," said the source. In War 2, NTR Jr. will face off against Hrithik Roshan in an epic action adventure. Their wits' fight and the ferocious showdown will be an action extravaganza worth seeing on the big screen. War 2 is now a truly Pan-India picture starring top talent from the Northern and Southern industries." It went on to say, "Aditya Chopra's decision allows War 2 to have the broadest audience appeal for a Hindi film while also increasing the picture's box office potential." Because of the presence of their favourite young tiger - NTR Jr. - the Southern market should come alive and connect on a much larger scale."

 

NTR and Roshan are two of the biggest stars, each with their distinct set of acting skills. The former delivers intense performances, whereas the latter flirts with the camera with his smouldering aura. Given how restraint drove Roshan's character in War, the sequel should keep faithful to the spirit of his character Kabir. NTR, meanwhile, is fresh off the record success of SS Rajamouli's RRR and is currently working on a film with Janhvi Kapoor. When it comes to expectations, the sky's the limit.

War grossed over Rs 317 crore in India, whereas Pathaan grossed over Rs 520 crore. Will this go any further? It appears so, given that this would be a massive Pan-India release with massive receipts in the South. Similarly massive would be the receipts in the West, particularly in Japan, where RRR has broken many records at the ticket windows.
