Interesting Facts About Aditi Shirwaikar Malik

Aditi has been a part of TV shows like Kumkum - Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan, Shararat, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and Baat Hamari Pakki Hai has been away from the small screen since her last show, 26/11 went off-air in 2013. The actress is busy taking care of husband Mohit and her restaurant business. Aditi is married to Kulfi Kumar Bajewala  actor Mohit and the latter credits his wife for all the success he has received. He even stated in one his interviews that his wife has been there with him through all the thick and thin.

In July 2010, the couple got engaged in a private ceremony with only close friends and family in attendance. And, in December, they became man and wife. Revisiting her marriage day, Aditi told an entertainment portal that Mohit was late to his own wedding. The pheras were slated for 7:30 pm, but he only entered the venue, two hours later, at 9:30 pm
Aditi and Mohit didn't have a long courtship. They met on the sets of Banoo Main Teri Dulhan and soon, became friends. Just a few months into the friendship, the two realised they liked each other. However, both of them were hesitant to express their feelings. It was Mohit who finally gathered the courage to say it out and proposed marriage to Aditi
Our most favourite part of this proposal was her reaction to it - she actually thought it was a prank because it happened on April 1, 2010. Also, because Mohit was known for his pranks. "It was April 1, and knowing the guy that he is, I thought I should wait for a day to let the thought sink in. He asked me the same question the following day, and that’s when I knew that is was a serious question. I said ‘yes’, of course!" she told a leading daily.
He was a typical Punjabi munda and she, a Marathi mulgi, one would expect they had to make a lot of adjustments. Sure, they had to. But what is worth appreciating is the fact that they didn't let these cultural differences have an impact on their relationship.

Mohit and Addite Malik's son, Ekbir, was born on April 29. The actors took to their respective social media handles to share the name of their newborn with their fans. 
Aditi also revealed that just like everyone else, she has also experienced a “whirlwind of emotions” ever since she gave birth. “It’s tiring! And sometimes you just miss having a life with lesser responsibilities. And in that moment remember, it’s completely ok to feel overwhelmed, it’s ok to feel a little low.” Being a mother doesn’t mean that you can never have your lows, accepting them and overcoming them is important,” Aditi wrote.

Aditi has been enjoying every part of her pregnancy and often takes her to her social media to share heartwarming pictures and notes about her experience. Recently, she shared a couple of happy pictures as she glowed with vibrance.

Mohit shared a couple of pictures from Aditi’s Godh Bharai ceremony on his social media handle. Godh Bharai, or also known as a baby shower is a big event for an expectant mother as she receives blessings and gifts from her family members and relatives.
