Ramika Sen, the newly elected Prime Minister, was the last hope for those who wanted to replace Rocky's power in Kolar Gold Fields. The CBI were designing a strategy against him, and now they had been given the go-ahead from Ramika Sen. Nonetheless, Rocky was a step ahead of the authorities. He travelled to Delhi and talked directly with Ramika Sen. He gave her a file with information about a trust fund he was running and evidence that could be used to incriminate him.

Ramika Sen was appalled and unable to comprehend the enmity. Rocky was bribing every minister in Ramika's cabinet through the trust fund. If a case was opened against Rocky, the government's corruption would be exposed. Ramika was furious. Rocky had again succeeded in outsmarting her. He had the upper hand and the balance of power had shifted back in his favor.

Ramika understood that she had to take extreme measures to combat the Rocky Empire, so she chose to aid Adheera who had been seeking retribution in the shadows. Andrews communicated with Adheera, explaining how to infiltrate the Kolar Gold Fields through one of the mines, and with that Adheera and his army breached the area. The blood moon illuminated the region in a crimson hue, and they caught the Rocky forces off guard; Adheera killed Reena, who was expecting Rocky's infant. A fierce battle broke out between Rocky and Adheera, with Rocky emerging as the victor, but he comprehended that there was a person leaking information to the enemy.

Rocky eventually discovered that Guru Pandyan, the minister he had thought was loyal to him, was the one who had been passing information to Adheera all along.

Rocky, with blood covering him, decides to travel to Delhi and murder Guru Pandyan by his own hands. He visits the parliament and kills the Guru in front of everyone. This action gives Ramika Sen enough proof to take action and go against Rocky. She commands the military to fight against the ruler of KGF who is not rightfully crowned. The air force annihilates the Kolar Gold Fields.

Rocky had commanded the people to depart Kolar Gold Fields and presented them with an alternate spot to stay. He then took away all the gold with him on a cargo boat and sent a fax to the Indian, Indonesian, and American armies himself. Ramika Sen was perplexed as to why he had alerted the forces. Had Rocky admitted his defeat? Did he understand that there was no escape? The naval forces began shooting, and it was seen that Rocky's vessel was sinking in the ocean, with all the gold. People thought Rocky's story was finished. The man had, even if only for a short while, possessed all the gold in the world and had kept his promise to his mother. 

The mid-credit scene startled us all. The CIA had been investigating Rocky's case for a long time. A dossier is distributed to the high command by the CIA. Rocky was indulged in other activities, apart from gold smuggling, and kept them concealed from everyone.

In Anand Ingalagi's office, a gust of dusty air stirred up a piece of paper with the words "KGF Chapter 3" printed boldly. It was clear that the story was not over yet and Rocky, a.k.a. Raja Krishnappa Bairya, would be back. The cliffhanger of Rocky sinking underwater made it seem like he had died, but the mid-credit scene left an opening that he might have faked his death to fool Ramika Sen. 

It is obvious that Rocky diligently plotted out his plan for "KGF Chapter 3". He had a motive for summoning the navies of three countries to fire upon his cargo, to make them think his story was over and that a significant chapter in Kolar's gold mines was finished. The upcoming installment will disclose the thought process of Rocky and whether he will return to recover his kingdom and reclaim his title of the uncrowned ruler of KGF.
