"Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan" becomes Salman Khan's 16th century as it crosses Rs 100 crore nett in India within 2 weeks
- "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan" has achieved the milestone of crossing Rs 100 crore India nett within just 2 weeks.
- The movie has emerged as the third highest grosser of 2023, trailing behind "Pathaan" and "TJMM."
After a slow start on the first day, Salman Khan's Eid 2023 release "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan," directed by Farhad Samji and starring Pooja Hegde and Venkatesh Daggubati, has finally crossed the Rs 100 crore nett mark at the Indian box office after 14 days. The movie witnessed significant growth on day 2 and day 3, thanks to the Eid holidays, but its performance started declining afterward. Despite receiving the support of the Eid effect, the movie's performance took a downturn after Monday. With a total collection of just over Rs 100 crore after 2 weeks, the film is expected to settle for a lifetime collection of around Rs 105 crores, which is considered a low theatrical number for a Salman Khan led solo Eid release.
"Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan" adds up to Salman Khan's 16th Rs 100 crore India nett grosser
Salman Khan has set a record with 16 hundred crore India nett grossers, the highest for an Indian actor, with the release of "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan." The first film of his to achieve this feat was "Dabangg," and the latest one is "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan." While the Rs 100 crore nett benchmark is no longer a reliable indicator of a movie's success, it still holds some value for statistical purposes. In the past, a film needed to sell over 1.5 crore to almost 2 crore tickets to achieve the Rs 100 crore India nett mark, but now a movie selling 45 lakh to 60 lakh tickets can comfortably reach the same number. However, "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan" may sell around 65 lakh tickets during its entire run, which is an underwhelming number, especially because it was a solo festival release.
"Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan" secures the third position among the highest Hindi nett grossers of 2023, following "Pathaan" and "Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar"
