All India Bakchod Knockout:

Creative agency All India Bakchod (AIB)  produced the All India Bakchod Knockout which is a celebrity roast event. It was posted to AIB's YouTube page. The major topics of the roast, which was hosted by Karan Johar, were Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh.

The AIB Knockout was a celebrity roast, a type of comedy event in which a specific individual or group is subjected to good-natured jokes and humorous insults from a group of roasters. In the United States, roasts have a long history of humor, thanks to stars like Don Rickles and Dean Martin. The format was initially adapted in India with the AIB Knockout.

The event was recorded at the NSCI Dome in Worli, Mumbai, and featured a number of prominent Indian comedians, actors, and musicians as roasters. Alongside Johar, the roasters included AIB members Tanmay Bhat, Rohan Joshi, Ashish Shakya, and Abish Mathew, as well as comedians Zakir Khan and Aditi Mittal. The event got completely sold out, with over 3,000 people.

The AIB Knockout was met with widespread controversy and backlash. The roasters were criticized for making crude and improper remarks, especially about women and religious leaders. Right-wing political activists, Bollywood stars, and religious organizations all condemned the gathering. On February 3, 2015, AIB removed the show from their YouTube channel due to controversy.

Following the uproar, AIB came under more fire for the way they handled the matter. The group issued a public apology, but many felt that the apology was inadequate and insincere. Numerous AIB events got canceled as an outcome of the incident, followed by the suspension of the YouTube account.

The AIB Knockout is still considered as an important event in Indian comedy history, irrespective of the controversies surrounding it. The occasion staryea larger discussion about the boundaries of humorous satire and freedom of expression, as well as drawing attention to the rising popularity of stand-up comedy in India. In addition, it strengthened AIB's standing as one of India's top comedy groups in spite of the difficulties they had in the wake of the incident.
