Know About The Real Story of the ‘Haunted’ Annabelle Doll

Annabelle

The Annabelle doll must count among the most notorious, longest-running stories of the supernatural-mostly because she was "handled" by top paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. Actually, her rise in fame began way in advance of audiences getting a glimpse of her through the Conjuring universe and the subsequent trilogy of horror movies.

She is said to have come from a supposedly real event in life between the two nurses namely Lara Clifton and Dierdre Bernard. Her mother had given her the Raggedy Ann doll as an extra small gift on her birthday. Her mother had given her the Raggedy Ann doll as an extra small gift on her birthday. Weird stuff started to happen soon after-the doll began moving on its own, and little notes would keep on appearing with messages like "HELP US" and "HELP CAL." All those morbid happenings spiraled up into a really bizarre incident where drops of blood were on the doll.

This left them shaken and seeking an explanation, so they called in a psychic medium. The Warrens said she told them it was haunted by the spirit of a little girl named Annabelle Higgins. After having this told to them, they took pity on the ghost and agreed to let the spirit stay. Later, the Warrens would declare this a huge mistake. They insisted it had never been a matter of some harmless ghost, but something on the lines of an evil entity using that doll to affect and inflict harm on the living.

Of course, things get worse as Lara exclaims that the doll had attacked her fiancé Cal and had made him forcibly suffer bloody claw marks. Warrens finally get involved and do an exercise in the apartment. They then take the Annabelle doll to their occult museum for safekeeping, locked inside a glass case.

One might say, not by any stretch, a tale related by Warrens has raised more than a few eyebrows, and at the minimum, the experience regarding Annabelle's haunting created a continuing source of intrigue and fear that clearly blurred the lines between the world of paranormal legend and cinematic storytelling.
