PT Sir is a 2024 Tamil-language social drama film directed and written by Karthik Venugopalan, with production by Ishari K. Ganesh. The film features Hiphop Tamizha Adhi in the lead role, supported by Kashmira Pardeshi, Anikha Surendran, Prabhu, Ilavarasu, Pandiarajan, Thiagarajan, and Munishkanth.

Initially announced in November 2022 as HHT7 (Aadhi's seventh film as the lead actor), the official title was revealed in January 2023. Principal photography began in January 2023 and concluded in late February 2024, with major shoots in Chennai and Erode. Hiphop Tamizha composed the film's music, with cinematography by Madesh Manickam and editing by Prasanna GK.

PT Sir hit theaters on 24 May 2024, receiving mixed to positive reviews from critics.

Plot

Kanagavel, a young physical training instructor at a school in Erode, is warned by his mother, Maheshwari, to avoid social issues due to a dire astrological prediction. He is in love with a fellow teacher, Vanathi, and their engagement is imminent. However, when their neighbor Nandhini is assaulted and later commits suicide, Kanagavel defies his mother's warnings to seek justice. He files a murder case against the college chairman, GP Guru Purushothaman, believing him to be responsible.

Production

On 14 November 2022, Aadhi, part of the musical duo Hiphop Tamizha, was announced to star in a new venture directed by Karthik Venugopalan and produced by Vels Films International. The project, tentatively titled HHT7, was officially launched the next day in Chennai. The film's title, PT Sir, was revealed on 12 January 2023. Principal photography began on 22 November 2022 in Chennai and later moved to Erode, wrapping up by late February 2024.
