Manoj Bajpayee Reveals That He Was Not Paid Enough For The Family Man!!
Manoj Bajpayee admitted to being underpaid for his role in The Family Man. He indicated that OTT platforms are willing to offer more wages to Hollywood stars.

Manoj Bajpayee received a lot of appreciation for his role in the critically acclaimed online series The Family Man. Given the popularity of the Amazon Prime show, you'd imagine Manoj walked away with a sizable compensation package at the end of the series. However, as Manoj Bajpayee himself explained, it was just the opposite. Recently, the Bollywood actor appeared as a guest on Samdish's YouTube show Unfiltered. When asked about his pay during the interview, Manoj stated candidly that he was being underpaid by the OTT platform.
When the YouTube host inquired about Manoj Bajpayee's bank balance, which he considered to be huge enough, the actor laughed it off. He stated that it was difficult for an actor to become wealthy by appearing in films such as Gali Guleiyan and Bhosle. The interviewer went on to say that Manoj must have received "Salman Khan or Shah Rukh Khan-type fees" for The Family Man. But he was proven incorrect yet again.
Manoj Bajpayee on OTT channels earning more than Hollywood stars
Manoj Bajpayee dismissed the notion, saying, "Yeh OTT wale regular producer se kam nahi hai." They will compensate for great stars. I didn't get as much money as I should have for The Family Man." The Family Man actor made a surprising revelation about how the same OTT platform would be willing to spend large sums of money on a Hollywood celebrity. "Gora aayega, show karega to de denge," he continued.
Manoj Bajpayee's caustic remark when comparing the payout plan of OTT platforms to companies in Chinese brands was, "Brands have factories in China because there is cheap labor." Similarly, I am the low-cost labour here." Using Hollywood star John Krasinski's successful web series Jack Ryan as an example, Manoj stated that such performers were paid "bhar bhar ke (a hefty sum)."
