An article published by Forbes last year states that 2.5 billion bottles are manufactured annually worldwide, with 660 million coming from Italy, the nation leading the pack, and 435 million of those being Prosecco.

Australian Prosecco, perhaps? 
Prosecco was the name of the grape used to manufacture the sparkling wine until the regional classification known as Prosecco DOC was created in 2009.The region that bears the name of Prosecco is where it is created in northeastern Italy. Glera was the official name for the grape in 2009 following the DOC, but Prosecco had been farmed outside of Italy for about 20 years, particularly in Australia. In the 1990s, Australia planted the vine for the first time and began producing sparkling wine, which quickly gained popularity and gave rise to several brands. While Australian Prosecco won't be found sold in the European Union, don't be shocked since Australia and Italy are still at odds on this matter.
