Day 1 box office receipts for Ruslaan: Aayush Sharma's film has brought in more money than Vidya Balan's Do Aur Do Pyaar. The movie Ruslaan, starring Salman Khan's brother-in-law Aayush Sharma, opened in theatres during a severe slump in the motion picture business. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film, which was highly marketed by Aayush, generated Rs 60 lakh on its opening day at the box office, more than the Vidya Balan picture Do Aur Do Pyaar made on its first day of release.
Just previous week, Vidya Balan's romantic comedy made Rs 50 lakh on its opening day. On the other hand, the February release of Crakk, starring Vidyut Jammwal, brought in Rs 4 crore on its opening day. Additionally, Crakk was an actioner who did not rely on the support of an A-list celebrity. Regarding occupancy, Ruslaan recorded 6.42 percent of total occupancy. With 303 shows, the occupancy rate in Mumbai was 7.50 percent; for Delhi-NCR, with 357 shows, the occupancy rate was 7%.
Superstar Salman Khan, who happens to be Aayush's brother-in-law, was present at the star-studded premiere night of Ruslaan. In addition to launching Aayush with Loveyatri in 2018, the two actors co-starred in Antim in 2021. Aayush moved away from Salman Khan's banner with Ruslaan. During the trailer release for the movie, he discussed this and stated, "I think you get to learn a lot of new things when you get to work outside of your family." The outcome of what I've learned is Ruslaan. After his debut movie failed, Aayush had previously talked about being likened to a dog and told YouTuber Siddharth Kannan, "That day is what made me. I was dealing with a lot of issues at the time, but that day, when I was compared to a dog, I had an epiphany. That someone once said, "His father is a dog," which struck me as being appropriate for my son to read when he grows up and searches for information about his father online. My daughter and son should read positive things about their father when they are older. They ought to be pleased with me. And a major portal stated, "Aayush Sharma is a dog," about me.
In addition to Aayush Sharma, Ruslaan stars Indian actor Vidya Malvade as Chak De, Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu, and debutante actress Sushrii Shreya Mishraa.
