Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Khan are the most adored siblings in the industry. They have set brother-sister goals when they visited the Maldives together. And on Ibrahim’s birthday, Sister Sara took it to Instagram to post another throwback picture with him from the Maldives where the two were seen flaunting their abs. It was right after New Year that Sara, Ibrahim along with their mother Amrita Singh went to the Maldives for a fun vacation. Pictures went viral on social media since then. She had shared some of the most aesthetic pictures with her brother that has been giving us major FOMO.

Now, on the occasion of Ibrahim’s birthday, Sara shared a few other clicks from the same vacation. The first picture shows both of them flaunting their abs, while the second picture is of them on a deck together. Making the day special, Sara shared the bold pictures and congratulated him. Wishing her brother a happy birthday, Sara Ali Khan wrote, ‘Happiest birthday brother I love you more than you know and am missing you lots today!! Wish I was with you #tbt.’ Like Sara, Ibrahim’s pictures are also well-liked on social media. He is known as a star kid.

As always a section of the society as added their usual dose of negativity trolling the siblings and commenting on Sara’s choice of outfit. They also pulled up her religion unmindful of the facts that it is the twenty-first century and it’s a free country.

Most fans on social media objected over the photograph but they seem to have a problem with her beachwear. They seemed confused about the pose that the actress has struck with her brother. Sara Ali Khan clasps onto Ibrahim and it felt like he was quite uncomfortable with the pose. His body language and expression in the picture, particularly the posture of his hand reveals the teenager’s discomfort.

Some people implied that stardom has started affecting Sara and blamed inadequate parenting. ‘Fame and money descend people to this extend never imagined, id the children don’t know the elders should at least tell them what’s wrong and what’s right, this culture is going towards worse’, this is what a user wrote. That was Ibrahim and this ruined the whole picture and gave people the change to comment on her. Maybe this couldn’t happen if she would have not shared those pictures on his birthday. It was his birthday and he was the one who was uncomfortable and awkward in the picture.

Sara Ali Khan was always known for her cuteness and decency. She was one actress who has always been sweet to the people. She is always seen in simple white salwar kameez which gave her an innocent look. So maybe this drastic change in the look isn’t easy to accept. Was she wrong in stealing the thunder from her brother or was there nothing wrong in posing in a bikini when at a beach destination? It may be that she has posted such pictures because of her insecurities. Her last release ‘Love Aj Kal’ was a flop, and it was her first flop. The film failed to make a mark at the box office. There were high expectations from the movie. But the actors’ performances were appreciated by the audience.

There is nothing obscene in the pictures and the trolling was uncalled for. When the audience is okay with seeing their actresses in bikinis in the movies what do they have a problem if they pose in it in real life? We should give the actresses some space to have their personal life. It isn’t always about the audience and their entertainment.
