Ribhu Dasgupta's courtroom thriller drama Section 84 is Amitabh Bachchan's next project.

 

The lead role in Ribhu Dasgupta's next film, 'Section 84,' will be performed by Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan. It is a courtroom thriller drama, and it is Amitabh Bachchan's third work with Ribhu Dasgupta, following Yudh (an Indian television thriller miniseries released in 2014) and Te3n (released in 2016). Amitabh Bachchan made the announcement on his Instagram account, saying he is delighted to be collaborating with "distinguished creative minds" on this project and the challenges it will bring.

Big B used his Instagram account to post a short video clip titled "Amitabh Bachchan in Section 84." Ribhu Dasgupta wrote and directed the movie. He captioned the video by saying a delight once again to be in the company of distinguished creative minds for this brand new venture, and the challenge it provokes for him.

Director Ribhu Dasgupta expresses his feelings that he feels happy, blessed, and honoured to collaborate with Sir once again. He is looking forward to it. Vivek B. Agrawal, Producer, Reliance Entertainment said that it is his honour to have Mr. Bachchan on board in their next movie and he is thrilled to be starting this adventure with him and Ribhu in Section 84.

‘Section 84' is produced by Reliance Entertainment, Film Hangar, and Saraswati Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., and it is presented by Reliance Entertainment in collaboration with Jio Studios. Ribhu Dasgupta wrote and will direct the movie.

Aside from Section 84, Amitabh Bachchan co-stars in Project K with Prabhas and Deepika Padukone. Big B will also appear in the remake of The Intern, along with Deepika Padukone.
