Deepika Padukone's ex-boyfriend Siddharth Mallya once talked highly of her and referred to her as "crazy."

For a time now, Deepika Padukone has been in the news. After her Koffee With Karan interview with Ranveer Singh went viral, many people criticised the actress for being open about their marriage. Deepika dated Ranbir Kapoor before to her marriage to Ranveer, and their romance is still talked about today. Siddharth Mallya, the son of Deepu and Vijay Mallya, and his turbulent connection, however, is never discussed.

Outside of IPL games, a lot of fans saw Deepika mingling with Siddharth; they had a wonderful relationship. Even though they refused to date each other while they were together, their remarks following their split startled fans.

Upon their split, Deepika and Sidharth both made accusations against one another. "I made a lot of effort to make the relationship work, but Siddharth's recent actions have been abhorrent. He asked me to pay the tab on our most recent dinner date. I found that to be really uncomfortable," Deepika said in an interview.

The businessman, however, referred to Deepika as a "crazy female." “Deepika is a crazy female; I told her that I’ll return her money once dad clears his debts and the government sets him free,” he stated in an interview, as reported. “But she was just not ready to settle down.”

"She has forgotten the time I gifted her with expensive diamonds, luxurious bags, have spent huge on her vacations, and have hosted parties for her friends on her behalf," he said, claiming that he had also given the Om Shanti Om actress diamonds and opulent handbags.

Later, during an interview with The Unreal Times, Deepika Padukone defended herself. When Sidharth asked her to pay for supper at The Taj, she referred to him as "cheap" and expressed her displeasure.

And she said, "So cheap, yaa!" He first insisted on taking the car rather than the Merc. I was really humiliated when he took me to a low-end bazaar with an end-of-season discount offer and bartered a lot for the one top he eventually purchased after I begged him for a dress. Since their split, the couple has never been spotted together.

Ranveer and Deepika have a happy marriage. The couple got married in 2018.
