Sonam Kapoor set to perform at King Charles III’s Coronation Concert in London
In a week's time, King Charles III's Coronation will take place in London, and the announcement for the lineup of a concert has been made. Following the death of the late Queen on September 8, 2022, her eldest son has taken over, and the Coronation will mark the beginning of his reign. The Coronation Service is scheduled to take place on May 6, 2023, at Westminster Abbey, while the Coronation Concert will be held at Windsor Castle on May 7, 2023. To celebrate this historic occasion, renowned global personalities will be joining the event, and Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor will also be a part of the lineup.

The upcoming Coronation Concert for King Charles III in London will feature a star-studded lineup, including Sonam Kapoor, Tom Cruise, Winnie The Pooh, and Nicole Scherzinger, the lead singer of The Pussycat Dolls. A report in Variety revealed that Sonam Kapoor is set to take the stage at the concert to deliver a spoken word performance introducing the Commonwealth virtual choir. Sonam Kapoor is currently residing in London with her husband, Anand Ahuja, and their son, Vayu.
In addition, the guest list includes Katy Perry and Lionel Richie, and this will be Sonam Kapoor's debut royal appearance. Furthermore, Tom Cruise attended Princess Diana's funeral as a guest in 1997, while Nicole Scherzinger, the lead vocalist of The Pussycat Dolls, was present at Queen Elizabeth’s Jubilee Pageant last year.
Recently, Sonam Kapoor posted several pictures on social media featuring herself, her husband Anand Ahuja, and Apple CEO Tim Cook watching an IPL match together.
