Both Sunil and Ali are two performers are known for their terrible gray personas and if they are working together on a production it will undoubtedly be absolute madness. Sunil, who portrayed the role of Sarkata in the recent movie Stree 2, has shared a photo with actor Ali Fazal, well known for his role as Guddu Bhaiya in Mirzapur. Now the post is going viral, Ali and Sunil are seen shaking hands while posing for the camera, their height difference is very evident and people are enjoying the picture.
Stree 2 was a big blockbuster, the film starred Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana playing key roles. All the actors performed really well. After a long time a good horror comedy movie was released in Bollywood for audience. This horror comedy is on the verge of breaking into the Rs 500 crore club domestically, and it seems like a content victory over all else.
The series Mirzapur, on the other hand, has released 3rd seasons that are now available on Prime Video. While the previous two were huge successes, the third got mixed reviews from both audience and critics. The show starred an ensemble cast that includes Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyendu Sharma, Shweta Tripathi, Rasika Dugal, Harshita Gaur, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Vijay Varma, Isha Talwar, Lilliput, Anjum Sharma, Priyanshu Painyuli, Anangsha Biswas, and Neha Sargam. It seems like Pankaj Tripathi is the common factor in both Stree and Mirzapur.
Stree 2 has been pretty effective at quietly smacking patriarchy. The writer and director of Stree 2 Amar Kaushik said in an interview that certain critics' said about the humour quotient being higher than terror. "All of our ghosts are fallacies in our culture. Sarkata is the most extreme example of patriarchy. Stree, the icon of matriarchy, is not a witch. We built these characters in a specific way," Amar Kaushik stated. "We are not talking about hocus-pocus or spirits appearing out of nowhere," Niren Bhatt stated.
Those who haven't watched Stree before now are recommended to watch the movie along with their family.
