The 11 Miles Ritual - Things You Should Know

Ritual pastas can be split into two types- those that are well-written stories and those that appear playable. The 11 Miles ritual belongs in the first group. Additionally, there is a division between these games based on whether they are fabricated or rooted in history or legend; in this regard 11 Miles is also a made-up internet game.

Although it is fictional, 11 Miles follows the same tradition of travel seen in folklore, legend, and mythology; it is a journey to find what you desire, to return home, or to find out that your true desire was to return home all along.

The basic principles of the game may be easy to understand, but there's much more to it than that. Remember that the rules alone may not be enough and you must be aware of any risks associated with playing.

Requirements

Having the means to drive and operate a vehicle is essential and a car is often the preferred option, however, there are numerous other choices available. Furthermore, having a strong desire or ambition is vital.

Instructions

Finding the Road:

Start your journey in the evening, preferably when the roads are less busy. Head for a certain kind of wooded area, taking a route that goes through it. Once inside, take your time and look closely, trusting your intuition to find the right path. When you are sure you have located it, turn onto it.

Traveling the Miles:

• Take a break if you need it. You have the option to stop the car anytime. Only start the drive again when you are ready.

• This is the first mile, if it gets chilly, you may turn on the heater.
• This is the second mile and if you have not done so, it is a good time to turn on the heater. If you do not, it may be a regret later.
• This is the third mile, do not pay attention to any shadows which may look human. This is the fourth mile, pay no mind to any voices you may hear, even if they seem human.
• This is the fifth mile, do not pay attention to the vanishing of the trees, the sudden appearance of a lake, or the glowing of the moon.
• This is the sixth mile, do not pay attention to the returning of the trees, the disappearance of the stars, or the flickering of your headlights. If your radio turns on, do not take notice to it, no matter what it says, but do not try to turn it off. You have reached the halfway point.
• Drive on. This is mile seven. No matter what voices you may hear, disregard them and keep going. Do not look back, even if the voices seem to be coming from the back seat.
• Continue driving.  This is mile eight. Slow down but do not stop. Brake if you notice your headlights flickering, but don't halt. No matter how cold it gets, don't stop the car. No matter who or whatever you spot, do not pull over.
• Keep going. This is mile nine. Your car may stop. Close your eyes and try to restart the car. Do not open your eyes. No matter what you hear, don't open them. When your vehicle starts again, speed up quickly. You can open your eyes when you reach the end of the mile.
• Drive. This is mile ten. Don't look in your rear view mirror.
• Drive. This is mile eleven. If your vehicle experiences a loss of power, keep driving.
• If you spot a red light ahead, close your eyes. Shut them firmly. Cover them with your hands if necessary. If possible, block your ears as well. Make sure you can't see anything.
• No matter what you hear, feel, or how hot it gets, don't look until the power comes back on. Then take a moment, take a breath, and drive.

Receiving Your Reward:

Continue driving until the route comes to an end. Take a break, close your eyes and think about what it is that you want, even if it is something different than when you first started your journey. Imagine having what it is that you desire. Open your eyes and if your desire is something tangible, look in your trunk, back seat and pockets. If your desire is something that cannot be touched, go back to your life and it will come in due time - just be patient.

While traveling, do not take part in any of the following activities.

Activate the radio, cassette deck, CD player, MP3 player, or any other audio device; Utilize a cell phone; Open the windows; Go faster than 30 miles per hour; Or drive off in the car.
