The Bhootnii Actor Sunny Singh Turns Down Marriage Agreement For THIS Reason

Actor Sunny Singh, who was seen in films like Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Akaash Vani, Ujda Chaman among others had a below average score at the box office. His films didn’t do well in theatres and the films those were digital releases went unnoticed. His recent theatrical The Bhootnii underperformed at the ticket windows but the makers claim it as a decent earner despite getting very less screens.
The PR around the film was done to hide the losses of the film. With the current trend of horror comedies working well for the producers, Sunny Singh’s film The Bhootnii failed to impress the audiences.
Director Shadab Khan, who helmed films like BA Pass 2 and recently got much attention at several prestigious film festivals with his Indie film I Am No Queen is gearing up for his next directorial Marriage Agreement.
A close source to the project informs, “Marriage Agreement is a story of a modern couple whose arranged marriage is on the verge of collapse due to complications and how they revive the relationship with a mutual agreement. It is a subject that is to be dealt with maturity and respect.”
“Director Shadab Khan has apparently approached Sunny Singh for the male lead. The actor had earlier met publicly to discuss the project but the two met officially to talk further. It is learned that Sunny has liked the subject but has turned down the project since he doesn’t want to do serious cinema at the moment. He rather wants to pursue light hearted and young roles for now,” the source adds.
Looks like Sunny doesn’t want to indulge in meaningful cinema, wants to do roles like his contemporaries but sadly, none of his choices are working, neither theatricals nor web.
