Imran Khan's Jai and Genelia Deshmukh's Aditi are great friends in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, but the surprise is that they are blind to the moment when their friendship turns into love. They don't realise their feelings go well beyond friendship until another girl named Meghna enters Jai's life and Aditi becomes engaged to a different boy named Sushant. "Hai dosti hum ko yakeen tha, dosti aur kuch bhi nahi tha, hai kaisa ye dard naya sa, kyun dil lagta toota toota sa”
Now for the film's popular clip, in which Sushant impishly questions Jai about his bond with Aditi. "Toh, tum aur Aditi college mein ache dost the right?" (You and Aditi were college closest buddies, correct?) Jai responds right away with a "short and strong" "Ab bhi hain, hamesha rahenge" (We are still friends and will always be). Sushant tries to mask his envy beneath a smile, but Aditi's expression of excitement shows how much she appreciated his reaction.
Call for the sequel to Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na
At the conclusion of Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, Aditi and Jai both profess their love for one another, tie the knot, and are depicted returning to Mumbai following their honeymoon. However, since then, supporters have been clamouring for a follow-up. They're interested in learning about Jai and Aditi's marital lives. Although the sequel's creators haven't revealed any plans just yet, fans are crossing their fingers.
The hiatus of Imran Khan from acting
Imran Khan's latest feature film was the 2015 romantic comedy Katti Batti, which was a box office flop. Imran stepped away from acting after the movie and stayed out of the spotlight.
Imran explained his decision to give up acting in a recent interview with Vogue India, saying, "I hit a low in 2016 where I felt broken inside." "Fortunately, I was working in an industry that had rewarded me financially, so by the time I was 30, I didn't have to worry about money," Imran continued, discussing how he was not concerned about money.
The actor acknowledged that he wasn't enthusiastic about his career, though. "I wasn't motivated to put in the necessary effort to pursue it at that point, therefore it wasn't my career.”
