When Kurup goes missing, the mood of the film shifts along with the perspectives, and it becomes a gripping crime drama in the second half. Dulquer Salmaan was flawless as 'Kurup,' portraying the various shades to perfection.

Indrans and Sreenath Bhasi star in the film, which is directed by Rojin Thomas and is available to watch on Prime Video.

4. The Priest

The Priest Indian Films was released in March 2021.

Mammootty and Manju Warrier star, and the film is directed by Join T. Chacko. It is available on Prime Video.

Join T. Chacko's The Priest is a horror mystery film that follows Father Benedict on his journey as he is investigated. With a running time of 146 minutes, the film tells the gripping story of an investigation and the mysterious events that follow. This 118-minute inspiring drama follows our lead character, who aspires to be a filmmaker, through various stages of his life. A decent feel-good film with a mix of societal elements and the life of a dreamer. A good movie to watch with your family!

 8•Aanakkariyam

Biju Menon and Parvathy Thiruvothu star in the film, which is directed by Sanu John Varghese and is available on Prime Video.

The life of Ittyavirah (Biju Menon), his daughter Sherly (Parvathy), and her husband Roy are depicted in Sanu John Varghese's mystery drama (Sharafudheen). The story takes place during the COVID-19 lockdown period when Sherly returns home for vacation to her father's house. Roy's difficult financial situation prompts discussions about selling Ittyavira's property, and the plot thickens when Ittyavira reveals to Roy a mystery buried beneath the house.

Biju Menon was outstanding as an elderly man who battled various mental battles. Aanakkariyam, despite its slow pace, is a very different film that depicted the miserable times of COVID-19 lockdown as well as the mysteries that Ittyavira held within himself. Mammootty and Joju George star in the film, which is directed by Santhosh Viswanath and is available on Netflix.

Santhosh Viswanath One on Netflix is a political drama that follows Kadakkal Chandran, the distinguished Chief Minister of Kerala, through various episodes. One is mediocre in terms of screenwriting and fails to capture the intrigue. Mammootty, on the other hand, shines brightly in an iconic role. A strict once-and-done watch!
