It is considered to be one of the most important films from the bollywood industry. What makes it special is that it is a crowd funded film where around 5 lakh farmers contributed Rs 2 each. The story is of farmers from Gujrat who are never paid their dues for the production of milk.
3. Kadvi Hawa
This film was released in 2017 and is one of the latest additions in the farmer's film list. Interesting right? The maker will leave you with a lot of thinking and overthinking. It shows the village of a blind farmer where farmer suicides are a everyday thing. Thye struggle a lot due to lack of rain in the village.
4. Peepli Live
It is one of the best films in the genre which you can watch. It is the story of a man named Natha who declares his suicide due to lack of money to save his family and farm. Following this announcement is a lot of drama, politics and media news.
5. Upkar
It was released in 1967 and is a gem for the industry. The story is based on Jai Jawan Jai Kisaan slogan. It was immensely supported by the government and Prime Minister of India at that time.

It is a film from the Marathi industry. It is based on a frequent and serious issue but it couldn't get the desired responses from the audience.
