Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, Ammy Virk teams up for Dharma Productions-Prime Video’s movie

This year, we are all set to see a lot of fresh on-screen pairings and collaborations in Bollywood films. Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk will appear in an untitled Dharma Productions and Amazon Prime Video film directed by Anand Tiwari. In the previous year, the stars shared numerous BTS photos from their shoot, and while a lot of details were unknown, fans were intrigued to find out more about the movie. Now, Karan Johar and Dharma Productions have officially announced the film and revealed its theatrical release date through social media posts.

Karan Johar took to Instagram on Friday to announce a "new movie" starring Vicky Kaushal, Ammy Virk, and Triptii Dimri. He wrote that he is bringing together the three powerhouses of talent - Vicky Kaushal, Ammy Virk and Triptii Dimri led by director Anand Tiwari's deft vision. So, look out for the explosion coming your way as this movie makes its way to the theatres this August 25. Fans were overjoyed when the film's official announcement was made! Zoya Akhtar responded with a smiley emoji, and Shweta Bachchan added, Woo hoo all the best guys x.

 

Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra and Anand Tiwari are producing this yet-to-be-titled movie . It marks the second collaboration between Amazon Prime Video and Dharma Productions, after Sidharth Malhotra's Yodha, which will be releasing on July 7.

Previous year in June 2022, Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri had been shooting for this film in Croatia. They were joined by choreographer Farah Khan, who posted a fun video in which they were spotted recreating an iconic Shah Rukh Khan song with the movie's’s crew. The video shows Vicky sitting beside Amritpal Bindra, Triptii, Anand Tiwari, and other members from the movie's crew, and dancing to SRK’s iconic song Tumse Milke Dil Ka from the 2004 movie Main Hoon Naa, along with Farah Khan.

 

Vicky Kaushal recently had a cameo appearance in Anurag Kashyap’s movie Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat. Before that, he was seen in Govinda Naam Mera alongside Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar. Meanwhile, Triptii Dimri was seen with Babil Khan in the Netflix movie Qala. Ammy Virk was last seen in the movie Kabir Khan’s 83.
