Vivah is a Bollywood movie released in 2006,which is an Indian Hindi language movie which came under romance drama genre and the director and the script writer of this movie is Sooraj R. Barjatya. The film which marked the debut of Sooraj R. Barjatya as a director is the production of Rajshri Productions Ltd., The cast included Shahid Kapoor as Rajvir and Amrita Rao as Suman, aside other actors and actresses in support role of Anupam Kher, Alok Nath, Seema Biswas, Samir Soni and Lata Sabharwal. Vivah narrates events that happen to two people hence focuses from engagement to marriage and beyond. [4]

Vivah is the fourth film in which Shahid Kapoor was paired opposite Amrita Rao. Ex Lot released the film on the 10th of November in 2006. There was also the Telugu dubbed version of the movie which was released as Parinayam.

Story 

Poonam, who is a ‘good Indian’ girl is to get married to Prem, a groom selected by her uncle. The faith and love in the marriage between Poornam and Prem are to be put to the test though, as they are involved in a car accident, leaving Poornam possibly disfigured for life.
