By claiming that even Lata Mangeshkar never performed at weddings and parties for payment, Kangana Ranaut appears to be making fun of the biggest names in Bollywood.

Kangana Ranaut never gets tired of congratulating herself on her accomplishments and the values she lives by. As many Bollywood bigwigs have performed at weddings and commanded astronomical fees, as is common knowledge. And it appears that Kangana has made fun of Bollywood celebrities once more for dancing at weddings and birthday celebrations.

The actress recently stumbled onto a video of great vocalist Asha Bhosle delivering an amusing anecdote about her late, legendary sister Lata Mangeshkar. She had mentioned how Lata didi didn’t ever sing at weddings.

Lata didi was once given a million dollars to sing at a wedding, but she turned down the offer, Asha also stated in the video. She was heard saying, “Just come to our wedding for 2 hours, they had told her,” which is translated as, “Kaha 2 ghante sirf aap darshan dijiye humari shadi mein.”
Kangana posted the video to her Instagram stories and continued by comparing herself to Lata Mangeshkar, noting that she had also turned down a sizable offer and never performed at a wedding. “Agree. Even though I have the most popular songs, I’ve never danced at weddings or private parties and was denied outrageous amounts of money. I’m glad I found this video because Lataji is truly inspirational “She spoke.

Following Thalaivii, Kangana will appear in a second Tamil film. In the film Chandramukhi 2, which is being directed by P. Vasu, she will play the title character, Chandramukhi. The precursor of the movie was released in 2005 and stars Rajanikanth and Jyothika Saravanan.
Emergency
She will take a brief vacation from her second film, Emergency, and after Emergency is over, the second schedule of Chandramukhi 2 will start. She also has the upcoming films Noti Binodini and Tejas, in which she plays an Indian Air Force pilot.
