1. When Buddha Rejects A Gift

Once when Buddha was on his way to teach in a village an angry person of different believers walked in and started insulting and scolding Budha. Buddha simply replied, 'Tell me, if you buy a gift for someone and if that person does not take it, to whom does the gift belong?' The man answered that it belongs to him as he bought the gift. After that Buddha smiled and said, 'That's right. it is the same as your anger and frustration. if you become angry with me and if I do not get insulted then the anger falls back on you. All you have done is hurt yourself.

2. When buddha was Insulted By A Householder

As Buddha was a monk, once he went to a householder for begging. Instead of giving Buddha any alms, the housholder started scolding him. Then Buddha asked the householder a question if a parcel is sent to somebody and if the receiver does not receive it, to whom does the percle belong? The householder replied that it will go back to the sender. After that Buddha said that he had not received anything from him and left that place.

3. Mustard Seed and Death

Once Gautam Buddha's aunty came to him to revive her dead child. Then Gautam Buddha gave her a task to find a mustard seed that had never seen any death. His aunty ran door-to-door but couldn't find one.  After some time she realized that there are so many others like her who had lost their loved ones in their life and fell at the Buddha's feet.
