Director Vikash Verma’s ‘No Means No’ & Rohit Shetty’s Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi was supposed to release during Diwali 2020, while Kabir Khan’s Ranveer Singh starrer 83′ was supposed to have a Christmas’20 release. But the pandemic has upset the plans of the filmmakers. Rohit Shetty & Vikash Verma now have to pick a new date to release their movies sometime in Jan to March next year.
Despite the disappointment, this will bring to many cinema fans, it is of course a price we must pay in order to slow the spread of the virus and protect those around us. And, although for many of us cinema is our passion, it’s, of course, a small price to pay for global health.
Thankfully, there will be a day when theatres will open again, and as such cinema will be able to return to our lives. When that day comes, No Means No will, with luck, flow into cinemas and become widely available for the viewing public.
