Well, everyone knows what a sensational youth phenomenon rapper Raftaar is. He started his rap career with an urban music group called Mafia Mundeer alongside famous rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh. He later split from the group and went onto make a solo career in rap music. As an artist Raftaar admits that the road to the top wasn’t easy. He has been a gang leader of the esteemed MTV show – Roadies, for the past two seasons and also emerged as a winning gang leader of the show for the first time. Raftaar is also one of the judges on MTV ‘Hustle’ – a platform for budding underground rappers to showcase their talent.

Raftaar is often known for his hospitable nature towards young stars within the Indian music industry. He has been a mentor for many rappers and upcoming singers in the industry. As an artist who has struggled to the top, Raftaar believes in offering his support and care to newcomers. In recent events, he was spotted bonding with upcoming youtuber Salil Jamdar. Salil who considers Raftaar as his elder brother says, that it’s unbelievable to meet someone so hospitable and down to earth even after achieving success and fame. He not only considers Raftaar as a brother but also as a mentor and life model.

Raftaar who is known for toe-tapping hit Bollywood songs like Dakaad, Mantoiyat, Baby marvake maanegi, etc recently released his new rap verse in Salil Jamdar’s latest video which is also the final chapter of his web trilogy ‘Asli Mard’ that speaks about the amount of people addicted to watching adult films and R – rated content within our society. Raftaar’s rap in the video encourages people to quit watching adult films and R rated content within our society. He believes in the saying, “With great power, comes greater responsibility”. Thus, he believes in using his power to make a change in society that helps increase awareness about underlying issues within our society that are probably also the root cause of larger social issues like rape, sex addiction, human trafficking, etc.

As a nation moving towards growth and development, it is obligatory to get rid of social evils that exist within our society. In one of his interviews, Raftaar mentioned that he needs to set the right example for today’s budding artists in the industry and he stands by his word, of setting the right example by supporting Salil Jamdar’s cause of eradicating adult film addiction from our society something most artists ignore and would rather leave untouched. Kudos! to Raftaar for taking the initiative to make change within society. We need more people like Raftaar to work towards sparking change and helping our nation move up the ladder of development.
