SJ Suryah is one of the famous Tamil directors. He started his career as an actor with the film Kalvanin Kadhali. He acted in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films. In the films Spyder and Mersal he took a negative role. Priya Bhavani Shankar was initially a news presenter. Later she acted in a show ‘ Kalyanam Mudhal Kadhal Varai’. In the movie ‘Monster’ Suryah paired up with Priya Bhavani Shankar. In this movie, he takes the role of a common man. After this, he is all set to release his new movie ‘Bommai’ with the same actress.

Rumors spread out that both of them have a special bond and most probably in love with each other. After a while, the fans went out of bounds. Possibly they loved the pair so much that a new rumor came up that SJ Suryah proposed Priya Bhavani Shankar on sets. The rumors also spread this way that SJ Surya was rejected by Priya Bhavani Shankar because he was quite older than her. This rumor was quite unexpected and spread a lot. Knowing about all of these, SJ Suriya became furious and posted on his twitter about this. He said,

” Some idiots have spread the wrong news that I made a love proposal to @priya_Bshankar and she rejected it…. she is a very good friend of mine since “Monster” & sincere actress too that’s it…. pls don’t irritate and spread false baseless rumors… thx… SJS”

He mentioned that the rumors irritated him. Later after his psycho-thriller movie, Bommai’s first look poster was released he praised the look of his co-star Priya Bhavani Shankar. He compared her appearance to that of two of south India’s famous actresses Simran and Trisha. He tweeted about the same. In this poster, Priya looks like a doll wearing a red gown. Supposedly it is because they wanted to bring out the fear in the audience.
