The lead roles are played by Vishnu Vishal and Amala Paul and the other cast included Saravanan, Kaali Venkat, Vinodhini Vaidyanathan and Ramdoss in supporting roles.
Ratsasan was also remade in Telugu with the title Rakshasudu in 2019 and simultaneously had a Hindi release by the name Main Hoon Dandadhikari. Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru
Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru is solely written and directed by Karthick Naren, the film's character Rahman is the main lead and the narrator of the event's. It was released on 29th Dec 2016, and went on to become a super hit with film critics also giving the positive nod. Later it was also remade in Kannada as Aa Drushya in (2019).

Penguin is the beginning for the director Easvar Karthic who is new to mainstream cinema. The beloved mysterious star Keerthy Suresh leads the way in the film. The film focuses on a pregnant woman (Keerthy Suresh), who suffers from nightmares about the unresolved abduction of her first child. So, she takes off on a mission to solve the mystery. The Mahanati starrer was directly released on Amazon Prime Video in 2020 and received positive reviews for her acting skills in the thriller.
