Tollywood actor Rana Daggubati and his father D. Suresh Babu, a producer, are facing legal issues as they have been implicated in a case filed by local businessman Pramod Kumar. The plaintiff accuses them of forcing him to vacate a land that legally belongs to him. A summons has been issued to both Rana and Suresh Babu by the third additional chief metropolitan magistrate court at Nampally.

The two have been ordered to appear in court for a hearing on May 1st. Pramod Kumar alleges that the land in question was leased to him by Suresh Babu in 2014 and after the lease ended, the producer sold the property to him for 18 crore rupees. The businessman claims that he has paid 5 crore rupees, but the registration processes have not been completed by Suresh Babu. It is alleged that before the matter could be resolved, the producer transferred the property to Rana Daggubati's name.

According to the complaint, henchmen hired by Rana Daggubati and Suresh Babu forcibly evicted the plaintiff from his milkshake outlet in November 2022. Reports state that after the incident, Pramod Kumar initially approached the Banjara Hills Police Station for assistance, but no action was taken.

Neither Rana Daggubati nor Suresh Babu has commented on the matter.
