When P Vasu's Son Shakthi Vasudevan Was Caught By Cops!

It's not new for the actors to get drunk-drive under the influence of alcohol and bash other vehicles or dividers. We have seen a lot of cases in the past about actors getting drunk and caught red-handed by the police. Here is one such case which came as a shocker to the audience. The actor involved in it was none other than Kollywood actor Shakti, the son of popular director P Vasu.

After the incident Police released a statement which read, "P Vasu's son Shakthi Vasudevan, who was driving on the Elango Adigal Street at Choolaimedu, crashed his car at around 3pm". And the car sped away, but the passersby chased it down. To their shock they found actor Shakthi Vasudevan and two of his friends in a drunken state and informed the police who immediately escorted him to Anna Nagar Police station.

The Police further noted, according to a complaint raised from the car owner, Shakthi Vasudevan, was handed over to police investigation at Anna Nagar Road. The actor and his friend were reportedly taken for medical examination, after which police charged the actor under section 279 (reckless and reckless driving) of the IPC and section 185 (drunk driving) of the Motor Vehicles Act. Anyways, he was later released on bail.

The list of other actors who were arrested recently due to drunken driving are Jai, Manoj Bhathiraaja, Arun Vijay and Gayathri Raghuram. Most of the citizen's suggest that when actors attend such parties and drink they should use taxis in order to avoid such accidents.
