Why Vijay Thalapathy Is The Biggest Kollywood Superstar At The Box Office

Thalapathy is not just a name but an emotion to many film lovers. His Humour, Fights, Dialogue delivery, dance, Charm what not! He gives his best performance which helps to attract audiences into theaters. Superstar Vijay's fans always await for his performance on-screen and celebrate every movie like a giant festival. They don't worry about the hit / flop formula, rather they enjoy his individual presence. What does an actor need more than that?

It is a well known fact that over the years Rajinikanth has established himself as one of the most bankable actors in tamil Nadu. He is an actor whom director and producer would bet on, as he pulls off terrific collections. But in the present day Vijay Thalapathy is the one who is enjoying such colossus craze. To prove, in the past one decade Vijay had 14 releases, excluding Master. In which eight films earned over 100 crore at the Box office. If we talk about his last 4 releases – Bigil, Sarkar, Mersal and Master they grossed over Rs 250 crore worldwide.

The most interesting part about "Master" is, it was released when the film industry was under pump, they didn't know if people would come to theater with alot of scare around them. But, the gap between first wave and second wave and the stupendous craze of the actor helped to gain massive collections in 2021. There is no doubt in saying that Vijay is having a dream run in the Kollywood, no other hero seems to match him at the box-office collections.
