Vivo X Fold Plus TENAA Listing with Image Reveals Design, Quad-Cameras, Expected to Launch Soon

Chinese phone maker Vivo launched the X Fold, its first foldable device, in April of this year. However, only domestic sales were permitted for the device. What Vivo has in mind for its future foldable, the X Fold Plus, is yet unknown.

MySmartPrice recently discovered the Vivo X Fold Plus on the website of China's TENNA regulatory body. The device's discovery there is an indication that the foldable could soon become a reality. And this time, there is a chance that the gadget will be made available everywhere.

The 6.53-inch AMOLED cover screen of the X Fold Plus, which uses the same design language as its predecessor, is expected to have an FHD+ (1080p) resolution. The device's 8.03-inch tablet-sized display can be seen when it is opened. There will be a 120Hz refresh rate on each panels. Qualcomm's potent Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset is housed inside.

Regarding the phone's cameras, Vivo has a 50MP sensor powering the main camera and a 48MP sensor hiding behind the ultra-wide lens. Additionally, the phone has a 12MP sensor for a portrait camera and an 8MP sensor for a periscope camera. Depending on the model, the front-facing selfie camera will have a 16MP or 32MP sensor. The back camera island will feature a sizable circle with the lenses inside, as seen in the TENNA pictures, and the Zeiss brand will be positioned on the island's upper right. In the lower right corner is the LED flash.

A 4600mAh battery and Android 12 will already be installed to keep the lights on. Vivo's Funtouch OS 12/ Origin OS Ocean user interface might already be installed, depending on the markets where the X Fold Plus will be sold.
