CAs

Chartered Accountancy (CA) holds a revered position in the professional world, with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) offering the three-level CA program in the country. Achieving this designation isn't easy, as it requires years of dedicated preparation. However, there are exceptional individuals who have become CAs at remarkably young ages. Here, we highlight India's five youngest CAs.

  1. Nischal Narayanam In 2015, Nischal Narayanam, hailing from Hyderabad, achieved a significant milestone by becoming the youngest individual in India to pass the Chartered Accountancy exam at the age of 19. However, despite this accomplishment, he faced the restriction of not being able to enroll in the ICAI immediately due to the minimum age requirement of 21 for its members. Additionally, Nischal holds the distinction of being the youngest graduate of Osmania University in Hyderabad, having completed both his BCom and MCom degrees there.

  2. Ritu Nolakh:  In 2017, Ritu Nolakh achieved the distinction of becoming the youngest female Chartered Accountant in India at the age of 19. Originally from Lunkaransar near Bikaner, Rajasthan, she relocated to Surat, Gujarat, after finishing school in 2012 to focus on preparing for the CA exam. Remarkably, she passed the exam in her first attempt. Furthermore, Ritu successfully cleared two groups of Company Secretaryship simultaneously while pursuing her CA studies.

  3. Ajay Biwal: Ajay Biwal joined the ranks of the youngest Chartered Accountants in 2014 when he cleared the CA exam at the age of 19. Besides being a CA, Ajay is also a Cost Management Accountant and a CFA Financial Analyst. He currently serves as an account officer at Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited.

  4. Aditya Jhawar: Aditya Jhawar, hailing from Surat, Gujarat, achieved a remarkable feat in 2017 by becoming the youngest person ever to clear Chartered Accountancy (CA), Company Secretaryship (CS), and Cost and Management Accountancy (CMA) at the age of 21 years, 8 months, and 17 days. His accomplishment is rare and noteworthy, showcasing his exceptional talent and dedication.

  5. Amar Kataria: Amar Kataria, based in Pune, is also among the youngest individuals to complete CA, CS, and CMA (formerly CWA). He cleared the CA Final exam at the age of 21 in 2000, followed by the CS Final in 2001 and the CMA Final in 2002, demonstrating his proficiency across multiple disciplines at a young age.
