6 Dessert Recipes That Can Be Made With Spoiled Milk.

Imagine you have a strong desire to drink a hot glass of milk before going to bed, and you pour the milk into the milk pan only to discover that the milk is bad. Milk is made up of a variety of compounds such as protein, fat, and sugar, and when the pH (potential hydrogen) decreases, the milk becomes acidic. Casein protein and other molecules bind one another to form curdles or lumps, which then float on the surface of the solution. 

But did you know that you can make amazing desserts with curdled milk that will make you feel like you're in heaven?

  1. SWEET PANEER

When the milk has curdled, stir in a tablespoon of lemon or vinegar to the spoiled milk. This will aid in the proper curdling of the milk. Stir for 1-2 minutes, then remove from heat until proper chunks have formed. 

Pour cold water over the paneer after straining it through a colander. This will aid in the removal of the vinegar odour from the paneer. Collect the crum after squeezing out the excess vapour. Now add some powdered sugar and mix well. Enjoy the tasty sweet as a dessert whenever you want.

2. MILK CAKE.

In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups refined flour, 1 and a half teaspoon baking soda, and 4 teaspoons powdered sugar to make a milk cake with spoiled milk. Combine all of the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Mix in half cup milk and half cup water until thoroughly combined. In a separate cup, whisk together an egg and 3 tablespoons of butter. Fold the batter to incorporate all of the ingredients into the first tub. Fill a bowl halfway with this mixture. Pour this mixture into a greased baking tray and bake at 300 degrees celsius for 25 minutes. Once cooked, cut into pieces and enjoy the yummy milk cake.

3 . DOUGHNUTS.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together 2 cups refined flour, a teaspoon of baking soda, a teaspoon of baking powder, a pinch of salt, and 1 fourth cup powdered sugar. In a separate bowl, whisk together 2 eggs, 1 cup spoiled milk, and 2 tablespoon butter. Mix thoroughly. To make a dough, combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Refrigerate the dough for at least 2 hours. Break doughnuts with a doughnut cutter later. and deep fry until golden brown. Garnish with a topping of your choice and savour them.

4. MAWA CAKE.

Simply strain the excess liquid to extract the clay-textured curd from spoiled milk. Add 2 tbsp sugar, 2 tbsp ghee, and 3 tbsp milk powder to a pan with the clay-textured curd. Cook for around 2-3 minutes on medium heat. Spread the mawa on a greased plate and top with some finely chopped dry fruits once it's finished. After an hour in the fridge, split it into medium-sized serve food.

5. RASMALAI.

Strain the excess liquid from the spoiled milk to get clay-textured curd. Mix this with 2 tbsp of refined flour and make small balls from this mixture. In a pan, add ¼ cup milk, 4 tbsp sugar, a cardamom pod, and water. Once the sugar has been properly dissolved, add the balls and let them soak the mixture. Refrigerate overnight.

 

6. KALAKAND

To ensure the proper chunks are shaped in your spoiled milk, add 1 tablespoon lemon juice and simmer for a few minutes. Drain the excess water and suck it out. In a tub, keep the curdled chunks. In a tub, combine 4 cups of milk and boil until it is reduced to just 2 cups. Continue to stir in the prepared paneer dough until the mixture thickens and becomes a soft dough.  Now add sugar and mix well. Once small beads or lumps start forming, your kalakand mixture is ready. Pour it into a greased plate and spread it with a thickness of half an inch. Let it cool down and cut down into pieces.
