Yohani is a talented Sri Lankan singer, rapper, songwriter, and music producer who to hit international audiences with her hit track “Manike Mage Hithe”. Born into the world as Yohani Diloka de Silva on 30 July 1993 in Colombo, Sri Lanka, she is very much noted for her distinctive musical style, which is a mix of pop, rap, and present-day Sri Lankan sounds. It was success on digital platforms, which in turn helped to amass her millions of fans all over the world, in particular in South Asia.
Yohani grew up in a very supportive family, which had music at its core. Her father, Prasanna de Silva, was a member of the Sri Lankan Army, and her mother, Dinithi de Silva, was an air hostess.
