Many A-list stars are making peace with the fact that their careers as heroes or heroines won’t last too long. The reception to their movies & scripts offered to them have forced them to accept the reality. As per a source, at least two stars are actively considering alternate careers. One is an A+ lister who has a movie up for release. It might do well, but he is aware that it will unlikely break the records set by the younger lot. He has taken a leaf out of his peer’s book & might be seen as a TV host. Another A-lister heroine whose recent movie bombed, created a stir by inviting her ex’s wife as her guest. She wants to make it as a celeb chat show host.
The scripts offered to 60+ stars are limited. The audience too isn’t excited to see relatively old stars in action packed or romantic roles. Drama, horror & comedy are the only genres which work. A few stars are taking up 5 movies a year despite audience fatigue. But they too are likely to be forced to rethink their choices soon.
