Prashanth Thiagarajan is an indian actor who has given many amazing Tamil film to the south indian film industry. He was born in 1973 and is also the grandson of Peketi Sivaram who is an acclaimed film actor and director in the telugu, kannada and tamil films. Prashanth is also a director in the industry. He isn't just famous for his performances in the field of acting but is also well known for managing his businesses successfully. 

He is a graduate from Madras Christian College. He got married in 2005 to Grahalakshmi but their marriage didn't last for long and they divorced in 2009. 

 He started his career in acting in 90s and received the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut- South. We have seen him in not just Tamil but also some hindu films. Apart from this he has his own jwellery brand. He has a multi-storey jwellery mart in Panagal Park. Did you know about it? He is also a Pianist. However, he stopped taking films and walked out of his acting career in 2012 and gave his full focus to his business. He has achieved a lot in his life. He has been awarded with the Kalimammani Award from the Government of Tamil Nadu and a Cinema Express Award.
