Kajol To Make Her Web Series Debut In 'The Good Wife' Remake

KAJOL's debut into the world of WEB SERIES for DISNEY+ HOTSTAR will be the Indian Adaptation of American TV Series - 'THE GOOD WIFE' which ran from 2009-16

This will be the SIXTH adaptation of one of the most critically acclaimed COURTROOM DRAMA, which will see KAJOL playing the role of a CRIMINAL LAWYER who returns to Practising Law after the news of her Husband's involvement in a SEX and POLITICAL CORRPUTION SCANDAL broke out which compelled her to return to the COURTROOM to resume her Career.

SUPARN VERMA (The Family Man 2) will serve as Showrunner for this series, who has recently wrapped up his work on the Indian Adaptation of another American show 'RAY DONOVAN' titled 'RANA NAIDU' starring VENKATESH and RANA DAGGUBATI in the lead, and will start shooting this series for HOTSTAR from AUGUST 11. KAJOL, on the other hand, has wrapped up her portion for AMIT SHARMA's short film in LUST STORIES S2, and is currently working with an established LAWYER to prepare for this role.

The show is currently been seen to be out for public viewing in DECEMBER 2022 or JANUARY 2023, depending on the time taken to complete Post-Production of this series.
