Storyline

Purandara Dasa, a Saint, philosopher, poet, and devoted follower of Lord Krishna, displayed a keen interest in music, writing, and keertane from a young age. Despite being a wealthy gold and silver merchant in Karnataka, he selflessly relinquished all his riches to embrace the path of a Haridasa. With his divine singing, he skillfully simplified and conveyed the profound Sanskrit teachings of the Bhagavata Purana through melodious and accessible songs. Furthermore, he laid the foundation for the fundamental principles of teaching Carnatic music while also introducing the Raga Mayamalavagowla.

The story primarily revolves around the transformation of Shrinivasa Nayaka into the revered figure of Dasa Purandara.
