Gauri Khan Gives a Sneak Peek of Shah Rukh Khan’s Library and Aryan’s Room in Mannat; SRK demands a ‘Discounted Makeover’

As we know, Gauri Khan is a fabulous interior designer. She has built the empires of many celebs and event built one for herself. But do you know about her journey and story behind this profession?
Well, she never planned for this profession but she had immense love for art. Her this talent was doscovered when SRK and she didn't have enough money to hire a designer for their house and started with all the research. She has recently announced her book , My Life in Design, on social media with a picture of herself with her family, SRK, Suhana, Aryan and Abraham.
SRK has written a foreword for the book which says, “I am excited to see what she has included in her book, and if by chance she has designed some space better than what she has done for me, I will force her to give me a discounted makeover for my space.”
Gauri Khan has shared a lot of glimpses from her house, Mannat, in the book and they are the never seen pictures. “It’s both shocking and endearing to see her awake late at night, working on her iPad to make a delivery on time.” Gauri directed the chat towards Mannat, and said one of the most imposing features of the house is its ‘large gates.’
“A majority of Shah Rukh’s day, when he’s not shooting, is spent in the library. We have created a comfortable yet serious ambience. It’s warmly lit, has an old-school vibe to the way the library shelves are designed and is an atmosphere conducive to creativity,” shared Khan, even as she spoke fondly about her sons’ rooms. For Aryan, she wanted him to have a space where he could write as well as hang out with his friends. “He hangs with his friends there and the lighting transforms the area into a casual spot to watch movies and play games, but it’s also a place he used to study in and writes and works in now,” Gauri said.
Aryan will be soon releasing some of his writing work whereas Suhana will be making her Bollywood debut with Zoya Akhtar's The Archies with Khushi Kapoor and Agastya Nanda. Are you excited to see the kids?
