Megastar Chiranjeevi Tests Covid Positive

Megastar Chiranjeevi took to his Twitter page to announced that, he took the Covid test before resuming the shoot for his upcoming action packed movie ‘Acharya‘ and unfortunately tested positive.

The Former Union Minister hasn’t stepped out of his house during the lockdown days, but on 29th October the actor was spotted at Raghu Kunche’s daughter wedding.

As the production house of Acharya announced the shoot will start from 9th of November. The actor had to go for a Covid test as per the set protocol in which the test turns to be positive. The actor stated that he is asymptomatic and quarantining at home.

The team earlier made an announcement that it would take care of the necessary precautions keeping the Covid-19 pandemic situation in mind. The Konidela production house also revealed that the shoot will go on for a month, in which a huge part of the movie will be done.

The actor requested all those who came in contact with him during the past five days to undergo a coronavirus test.
