Samantha Akkineni To Play A Zombie?

It has been more than a decade since Samantha Akkineni has stepped into cinema with ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’ starring opposite Naga Chaitanya. From that day Sam has been rising up as an actress who can ace off any role with ease without depending on a bankable male lead.

Samantha has done numerous women centric films like U-turn, Oh Baby! and both of them turned out to be good hits at the box office. She has kept her options wide open as she started doing as a host in ‘Sam Jam’ and she is also acting in ‘The Family Man-2‘ web series and a few other films.

And now according to the latest buzz in the film circles, Akkineni Samantha is said to play the role of a Zombie in an upcoming Sequel “Revenge of Death”.

The recently released, Zombie Reddy marked the first Telugu Zombie film ever, introduced to the Telugu audience and it received a very good response at the box office and turned out to be a profitable venture. The film has Teja Sajja, Anandhi and Daksha Nagarkar playing the lead roles.

Earlier, Prashant Varma had announced he would come up with Awe and Kalki sequels but he couldn’t move the projects further. Hopefully we would see a Zombie Sequel with sumantha in a lead role.
