SANJAY DUTT WON'T PLAY ALIA BHATT'S FATHER IN SADAK 2

The cast of Mahesh Bhatt's upcoming movie - Sadak2 As Mahesh Bhatt returns to sit on the director’s chair after 2 decades with the remake of his own iconic film, Sadak,he decided to cast his own daughter Alia Bhatt and his most dependable leading man in the 90s, Sanjay Dutt. Sanjay starred in the original film along with Bhatt's eldest daughter, Pooja. Sanjay and Pooja were each other's love interest in the movie.



Purportedly, Sanjay Dutt was roped in to play Alia's father in the movie. This seems to false as their hasn't been any official clarification of the same. The recent news is that Alia and Sanjay would be on an encounter to expose a fake religious guru running an ashram. The film is all set to go on floors this May and is about coping with depression, love, loss and redemption. The film also stars Pooja Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur. It will be for the first time that Mahesh’s daughters will be seen together in a film. It is also going to be a comeback for Pooja who has not done any movie post 2001. She was last seen in an English language film called Everybody Says I'm Fine! Mahesh Bhatt say on his directorial comeback, “Like the spider gets its thread from its own guts. The narrative of Sadak 2 is pulled out from my lived life. It's a film about living, loving and dealing with the anguish of the loss of a loved one.” The film had been announced in 2017 and is eyeing an end May release in 2020.
