Anushree was born into a Tulu-speaking family to parents Sampath and Shashikala. She has a younger brother named Abhijeeth. Her early education was at St. Thomas School in Bangalore, after which she continued her schooling at Narayana Guru School in Mangalore. She later pursued higher education at Mangalore University.

Career in Television

Her television anchoring career began with "Tele Anthyakshari" in Namma TV. Anushree's charming presence and hosting style landed her many shows, including the popular "Demandappo Demandu" on ETV Kannada, which brought her immense fame. She has hosted several reality shows and award functions like the Suvarana Film Awards, Filmfare Awards, TV9 Film Awards, Zee Music Awards, SIIMA Awards, and the Celebrity Cricket League. Anushree made the transition to cinema with her debut as an actress in 2011 through a film called "Bhumitayi."
